hi, there! i'm back from vacation and i'm feeling all refreshed and inspired (despite a pretty bad case of hammock withdrawals). and i just added a bunch of new stuff to my etsy shop...i still have some items on sale and some new paintings and some gocco printed cards. check it out!

i probably should not have a blog. i blog erratically at best. but i've been very busy lately. here are a few of the things i've done:
1) i moved (granted, i moved in january, but still...) and my new place has many things to distract me from blogging, including, but not limited to: a) a meyer lemon tree, b) a hammock, and c) a really comfy sofa.
2) i got a dog. she is hands-down the most awesome thing in the universe. end of story.
3) i decided to go to mexico in june.
this leads me to the critical point of our blog...versation (yes, we are currently blogversating). i have decided to go to mexico in june! i haven't been on vacation in 9 years (and that was just a short stay at a cheap motel in san diego, which barely counts). and of course, i can't really afford to go to mexico in june (or ever), but you know, one must seize the day. life is short and all. plus, it's too late. i impulsively purchased a plane ticket at approximately midnight o'clock last night. what's done is done.
so here is where you come in! i just put everything in my etsy shop on crazy super sale, for one month only - nothing is over $85! like i said, crazy. and also super.
you need art. i need to go to mexico. let's help eachother out.
i just got all my unsold pieces back from my last show, space for everything, and i am slowly putting them up for sale in my etsy shop. i've already listed a few and i'll be posting more shortly. please do take a look...
my recent trip to seattle was very fun. i admired the lush foliage, i ate a lot of food and i drank many, many soy cappuccinos. i also saw several very fine beards. in my humble opinion, seattle and portland really do have the finer beard market cornered.
you can see some pictures of my art show here. the show will be up until december 31, so if you're within, say, 100 miles of seattle, get on over to wall of sound and have a looky-loo. it's worth the trip. it really will (probably kinda) change your life. and everything is priced for the new economy (a.k.a. the greater depression). that means affordable as all get out. so get out. seriously.
did i mention that a crazy man threw garbage at my head tonight? crazy, right? furthermore, i'm pretty sure my upstairs neighbors are playing foursquare with bowling balls and silverware.
